Axelrod Consulting provides professional software development services on a contract basis. Depending upon the scope of the project, these services will typically include one or more of the following activities:

Axelrod Consulting performs an extensive analysis of the client's requirements in order to provide an accurate estimate of the total cost to complete the project. In most cases, we provide a fixed bid estimate for the work, thereby ensuring the client knows the total cost of the work up front.
It's possible, however, that the nature of the project does not lend itself well to a fixed bid estimate; for example, a project that involves the use of some unproven technology is one which we may not be able to provide an accurate fixed bid estimate. One of the advantages of working with Axelrod Consulting is that we maintain a very low overhead. This means we can offer you professional software development expertise at rates much lower than some of the larger contract outfits.
Another advantage to using Axelrod Consulting is that we don't perform a "bait and switch" operation in our approach to scoping projects and performing the work. Many companies often will bring in their more senior developers to scope out a project and develop a bid. However, when it comes time to do the work, they will often assign junior engineers to actually perform the work. We believe this practice misleads customers and doesn't give them the best value for their dollar.
